“The Chicken” written by Una Gunjak is selected for for Nisi Masa European Short Pitch 2012

Una Gunjak, who has edited four previous Parkville films, has been selected to pitch her first short screenplay ‘The Chicken’, set in her native Sarajevo. Parkville’s producer Cecilia Frugiuele will accompany her to Maribor, Slovenia in March 2012.

“Turning 6 in war-time Sarajevo it’s not like any other birthday. When Selma gets a live chicken for a present, accepting its inevitable destiny becomes a lesson with dangerously high stakes.”
